MLP/B - Twilight meets the Lutece Twins

"Nice necklace, Twilight! Where'd you get it?" Pinkie asked, looking at the dark blue necklace with swirls of light blue on her alicorn friend's neck.

"Thank you," Twilight smiled whilst replying to her pink friend. "I traded it earlier for one of my books. It's simple, yet catches the eye." Twilight thought about what she just said for a moment, and chuckled. "I'm starting to sound like Rarity, aren't I? Nonetheless, I like it."

"Yes, indeed." A very light blue unicorn mare with a contrasting ginger mane said, trotting up to them. "However-"

"It is missing something." An almost identical unicorn stallion chimed in, following next to the mare that spoke.

"Precisely, brother. But what do you think is missing?"

"A cage, perhaps?" At this, the stallion lifted up a pendant with glowing goldish yellow magic. The pendant's edges were gilded, the middle shining dark blue with a light blue cage in the middle.

"Or maybe a bird instead?" The mare then lifted with her own magic an almost identical pendant, the only change being a light blue bird in flight.

Twilight scanned both pendants cautiously, then looked up at the two unicorns levitating them. She'd never seen anypony like these eccentric two before. The alicorn cleared her throat, and asked them, "Forgive me if this is rude, but who are you two?"

"Oh! Right, we never mentioned who we are." The mare gestured to her brother beside her. "This is my brother, Robert,-"

Robert finished her sentence, gesturing toward his sister. "- and this is my sister, Rosalind."

"Most call us-"

"-The Lutece twins."

Sorry, felt like writing a little. After seeing these two in the background of today's episode, I was convinced these were the ponified Lutece twins. Then this happened. 
It was fun to make.
